Product Information

I use high quality, matte finish interior vinyl that has a water-based removable adhesive. Interior vinyl will adhere to just about any smooth surface including lightly textured walls. Please request a small sample to test on your surface. Wall decals can be removed but not repositioned. They will not leave a gooey residue on your surface. Freshly painted walls should be allowed approximately 6 weeks to dry and cure before applying wall decals.

Application Instructions

You will need:

  1. Ruler or tape measure
  2. Level (optional)
  3. Masking or blue painters tape
  4. Small rubber squeegee, credit card or popsicle stick
  5. Pencil (optional)
  6. An extra set of hands for large decals

Step 1: Surface Preparation Make sure the surface is clean, dry and smooth. Please allow freshly painted walls approximately six weeks to cure before applying vinyl.

Step 2: Measure Use a tape measure, ruler or level to determine the exact placement of your vinyl. Drawing a light guide line or using small pieces of masking or painters tape will mark your placement.

Step 3: Prepare Quote If your vinyl came rolled or folded, lay flat and set a weighted item such as a phone book to flatten it back out. IMPORTANT: On a flat surface, rub the transfer tape (white masking tape-like paper on top) firmly and smoothly with a squeegee, credit card or popsicle stick to insure vinyl is adhered properly to it. Securely tape your quote in place along top edge to your surface with masking or painters tape.

Step 4: Application At your tape hinge, flip up the vinyl and carefully peel the shiny backing paper away from the quote, which should remain on the transfer tape. If vinyl stays adhered to the backing, rub the transfer tape again with a squeegee, credit card or popsicle stick. The quotes can not be repositioned, so be careful to line them up where you want them. Place the taped quote on your surface, using your drawn or tape guides to position the vinyl correctly onto the surface.

Step 5: Burnishing Using your squeegee, credit card or popsicle stick, firmly and carefully press any air bubbles out from underneath the words. Then burnish the entire decal once more to make sure all edges are adhered.

Step 6: Transfer Tape Removal Carefully peel back the transfer tape against wall.

Order Confirmation

After placing your order, you will receive two emails: One confirming order and one when your order is shipped if you have provided an email address and if your order includes USPS 2-3 day Priority or UPS Ground service.

Shipping and Lead Time

  • Production schedules vary with the volume of orders I’m processing. It is my goal to produce and ship every order as soon as possible. If you need your order by a certain date please contact me to check my current lead time and to make arrangements.
  • I ship most orders USPS 2-3 day Priority. That means they will be in transit 2-3 days. Please allow time for me to make your order.
  • I make every effort to keep shipping quick and costs low and will only charge you the actual cost of packing and shipping. I will refund any overage miscalculated by the shipping calculator.

Return and Exchange Policy

Because they are made to order, wall decals, stickers, labels, photo signs and other custom made products are not eligible for return. Returns of non-custom signs, candle centerpieces or other products must be made within 30 days of receipt and be received in new condition, less shipping. All returns must be authorized by me before returning. Please read the following, and then follow the instructions below to complete a return:

  • If I have made an error in your order, please contact me as soon as possible so I may arrange to replace it.
  • Received damaged merchandise? Retain all cartons and shipping materials, document with pictures if possible and contact me at 541-683-5718. I will be happy to arrange a replacement for you.
  • Have difficulty applying your wall decal properly? Contact me within 30 days of purchase.
  • Shipping charges will not be refunded on returned orders.

If you need to make a return, kindly follow these steps:

  1. Read my return policy
  2. Notify me of your return briefly including the reason by emailing orders@justmyluckdesigns.com or by calling me at 541-683-5718
  3. Repackage using the original shipping box and packing material.
  4. Indicate on a copy of your packing slip which item(s) you are returning, the reason for your return and whether you would like to make an exchange, receive a credit to put toward your next order, or receive a refund less shipping charges.
  5. Use your own trackable and insured shipping method for the full value and send to:

Wholesale

If you operate a brick and mortar or web-based storefront and would like to resell my wall decals, please contact me to establish a wholesale account. You will receive a unique username and password to gain access to special pricing. I have two resale options:
Stock wall decals (non-personalized): I am happy to accommodate wholesale orders of my standard wall decal designs for resellers that operate either web-based or brick and mortar stores. You may not resell my products on sites like Ebay. Please note that wholesale orders do not come packaged. However it does give you, the reseller, the opportunity to put your brand name on the package. This allows your customers to continue buying wall decals from you instead of directly from me. Each wholesale order must include a minimum of $100 of product not including freight. You may apply for a wholesale account by contacting me one of the ways listed on the “Contact us” page on this site.


Custom ordered wall decal program: An alternative to stocking pre-made wall decals in your store, is in joining my custom order wall decal program. You can order a kit with all the supplies you will need to sell custom order decal monograms, graphics and quotes to your customers. Each order can be drop-shipped directly to the customer or to your store for pick-up. Please see the wholesale section of my online catalog for more information. You may apply for a wholesale account by contacting me one of the ways listed on the “Contact us” page on this site.

Cancellation Policy

If you must cancel your order, please notify us IMMEDIATELY to avoid non-refundable shipping charges. Orders may only be canceled depending on the stage of production or shipping status.
